Thank you for your website! I really appreciate the topics you discuss, and how you bring such well-written text to such difficult subjects often overrun by really sad people like Horace and Frank who seem to have an affinity for your page!

So much for not turning on a channel of something you don't want to see – how about not stopping by rather than bashing, attacking and terrorizing people with a different perspective than you. What makes you feel different than a terrorist?

Perhaps Frank and Horace have become bored with the many sites and opinion blogs sharing their points of view. Like little toy soldiers, they go roaming around for someone to inflict their pain on. Like those that continue to spout their hateful misstatements about immigrants so the heat on immigrants turns up, Frank and Horace RUN around, MONITORING sites to combat anyone speaking DIFFERENTLY than they believe.

Truly, isn't this a little like terrorism Horace and Frank? How do you make your money? Who do you work for? How do you have so much time to return day after day to this site to put the same old tired arguments on this and any other site that has different opinions than your own?

Maybe you both have so much time because you, like all Americans, have gained more free time as immigrants take on jobs Americans don't want. Look at Arizona, its now feeling the pinch of its laws that seek to punish rather than rationally consider the whole picture. Arizona is on the brink of losing such a large portion of its workforce, and hence, having its major industries impacted, i.e. losing money. Maybe Horace and Frank can find work there, or do you perhaps already live in the state?

The problem with people like you two is that you don't realize the world doesn't work like when you walked out of the history books to repeat the same old thing. It’s a global economy, and ours is one burdened by poor choices that has us draining our schools, hospitals and cities of needed resources for a war based on lies.

The attack on immigrants addresses a system that has been around a LONG time, one that, if we are to change it, requires intelligence, human kindness and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of our reality, one that we all participated.

Hence, the claim of illegals being criminals because of broken laws is ridiculous, then everyone broke the law - so - are you both planning on taking on everyone?

You tarnish our country by pretending we all could not see how many immigrants worked around us, lived next to us, and became our friends. You want to blame only one part of the equation because it serves your hateful purposes. Why not focus on getting immigration reform passed rather than going back to blame?

We need to move on, our economy is being hurt by this silly illusion that we have been invaded. The door was open, 12 million plus people walked through, we all benefited from low prices, low wages, and all the other economic benefits reaped by everyone: from those who sold socks, rented a house, or offered a loaf of bread to any of the immigrants in this country. The money sending businesses made record profits, banks and institutions benefited. We were and are all in this together.

How convenient for you to target only one part of the whole, so typical. Please, don't bother responding to me since I have heard all your sorry arguments and just don't believe you. Sit down and be quite, and leave Marisa alone, really, grow up. Just don't come to this site.

flor, not that it is any of your business but I am retired and can spend as much time as I want on the internet. One of my passions in retirement is to take this country back and rid it of illegal aliens that have no business being here.

You obviously are looking at illegal immigration with rose-colored glasses. It is a net drain on our economy and country, not a positive. I suspect that you are an ethnocentric latina who puts her ethnic kind about the laws of this country. You find that admirable? I don't! That isn't what this country is about. It is about legal immigration and the rule of law and no one group gets a pass on our laws.
